Better than Cracker Barrel Fried Apples

Fried Apples


Ingredients


3 - Large Apples

1 Tbsp. - Butter

1/2 c. - Brown Sugar

1 Tsp. - Vanilla

1 Tsp. - Cinnamon

1/2 Tsp. - Nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Peel and slice apples.

  2. In a large frying pan, melt butter on medium-high heat.

  3. Stir in apple until they are coated in butter.

  4. Add in brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

  5. Cook for about a minute, then turn down to low heat and cover for 5 minutes.

  6. Remove cover, stir, and return to medium-high heat for an additional 5 to 10 minutes (however long it takes for the liquid to evaporate), stirring occasionally.
